Laser Power Controller激光功率控制器
激光功率控制器(LPC)提供全自动的激光束功率调节和控制功能。它几乎可以使用在任何的连续波或模锁定激光上,也可选购使用在脉冲激光上。激光功率控制器可透过RS-232或GPIB接口进行数字化控制,也可透过模拟式输入插孔进行控制。面板上的微处理器使用四位数字呈现实际的输出光束功率。
GENERAL 概述

LPC is a patented intensity control system that fits and connects externally to most of the laser beam, including He-Ne, Ar++, Kr++, He-Cd, Nd: YAG, Ti:Sapphire, and others. It also employs a high-speed liquid crystal part as well as a thermally-controlled monitor photodiode to regulate the beam intensity at a user- select ed level (see Fig.2). LPC will operate by modulating the laser beam, without connecting itself to the laser system.
激光功率控制器是一套具有专利的强度控制系统,以外接的方式适用于大多数的激光束中,包括氦-氖、氩、氪、氦-镉、钕:钇铝石榴石、钛:蓝宝石激光等。这套控制器使用一个高速液晶组件及温度控制监测光二极管,按操作者选定的等级去调整激光束的强度。控制器的运作是调制激光束,而不需连接至激光系统。
Among LPC’s features are its compact size and large aperture, making it easier to align. Its liquid crystal modulator allows it to be used with IR lasers, and offers high power handling. A modulation input permits analog select ion of desired output power, while a reference output provides a signal proportional to the monitor photodiode reading.
激光功率控制器的特点尚有它的紧致尺寸及大孔径,使得它非常容易进行调准直。它的液晶调制器可使用在红外线激光上,并提供高功率激光的操纵功能。一个调制输入使操作者可对所需的输出功率进行模拟选择,而参考输出可提供正比于监测光二极管读值的讯号。
